Kaio Huvaere (b.1998) is a Detroit-based artist that uses sculpture, installation, video, and performance to elongate the shorthand experience of the internet. His work was included in the N’namdi Center For Contemporary Art’s 2017 Dlectricity presentation, the Veer exhibition at the Herman Kiefer Complex, and Unsee to Discover at 333 Midland. He has orchestrated performances in and around metro Detroit including Back From The Dead at the Trumblplex. In 2020 he received a Sundance Institute Short film fellowship and Red Bull artist grant. His first solo exhibition titled Bleach was held at Liquid Mobile Projects in fall 2019.
